Join me as we explore the gold mine of opportunities in this video.

## Unveiling Tik Tok Automation

Curious about what TikTok automation entails? Let me share my discovery. While casually scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon an account that specializes in uploading spiritual videos. At first glance, it may seem ordinary, but trust me, there’s more than meets the eye. This account, in my confident estimation, consistently rakes in hundreds of dollars. How is this possible? The answers will unfold as we progress in this video. First, let’s delve into Invideo AI, the tool that will drive this business and streamline the video creation process.

## Invideo AI: Your Creative Ally

So, what exactly is Invideo AI? Picture this – create a YouTube short narrating the incredible journey of space exploration. Make it epic, using a deep Australian male voiceover. In 1957, our cosmic sojourn began with the Soviet satellite Sputnik breaching our atmosphere. Invideo AI functions similarly, turning your ideas into visually stunning videos with just a simple prompt. But hold on, there’s more to it. Add subtitles, tweak the music volume, or switch the voiceover to a British female voice – all with a few words. The possibilities are astounding, and we’ve only scratched the surface. Stay tuned, as I’ll guide you through starting a TikTok automation business using this powerful tool.

### Getting Started with Invideo AI

To access Invideo AI, follow the link in the description. Create a free account, and you’ll land on a user-friendly dashboard. The central element is a text box where you input prompts. For a basic start, you can type something like “Create a 2-minute video about cats,” and Invideo AI takes care of script planning, voiceover, and video creation.

However, for professional-quality videos, a more detailed prompt is key. As you continue watching, I’ll share my prompt formula for optimal results. In the dropdown menu, select a workflow – YouTube Shorts, YouTube Explainer, recent events video, or script to video. Each requires specific information, essential for understanding the Tik Tok automation business we’ll explore later.

## Crafting Engaging Videos: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s consider creating a YouTube explainer, an excellent choice for a faceless YouTube channel. Specify the video duration (e.g., 10 minutes) and provide detailed information about the video. For instance, create a video about “Nine Crazy Facts About Cats.” Be creative in defining the overall look – start with a captivating fact, ensure humor, engagement, and dynamism, and end with a question for audience interaction.

Customization continues with background music and voiceover settings. Select the music type, gender, and accent for the voiceover. Subtitles are optional but add a layer of engagement. After hitting ‘Continue,’ the magic begins as Invideo AI transforms your detailed prompt into a video. Want to customize further? Invideo AI allows you to tweak various elements, from audience selection to the video’s look and feel.

### Editing Made Easy

Not satisfied with a specific part? Invideo AI simplifies edits. Use the text box underneath the video to request changes or click ‘Edit’ for more comprehensive options. You can modify media, script, or even export to the timeline for detailed edits and full customization (currently in the alpha stage).

## Elevate Your Videos: Paid Plans and Advanced Features

While Invideo AI offers a free option, upgrading to a paid plan (starting at $20 a month) unlocks a range of features crucial for serious video creation and the TikTok automation business. Unlimited exports, high-resolution videos, and access to premium footage – these elements enhance the quality of your content.

## Viral Content Creation: Recent Events Video Workflow

Invideo AI’s recent events video workflow adds another layer to your content creation arsenal. Use an article link as a reference, and within minutes, you have a trending video. Explore the world of artificial intelligence or any niche that aligns with trending topics.

## The TikTok Automation Business Model

Now, the big question – how does the TikTok account, seemingly simple yet monetarily successful, operate? The answer lies in affiliate product promotion. By examining the account’s bio, we find links to popular ClickBank products like Soulmate Sketch and Wealth DNA Code. With multiple accounts in the same niche, they consistently promote these products in their videos, some of which have garnered millions of views. The simplicity of the videos is the key, but I’ll show you how to leverage Invideo AI for even better results.

### Getting Started with TikTok Automation

Starting your TikTok automation business is a step-by-step process. Begin by selecting an affiliate product – platforms like ClickBank or Digistore offer diverse options. Create a TikTok account, and the real fun begins – content creation. Brainstorm video ideas, and here are three methods to help you:

1. **Chat GPT Ideation**: Use Chat GPT to generate video ideas for your niche. For example, if it suggests “Dog Health Tips,” copy the idea and head to Invideo AI.

2. **Article Inspiration**: Find articles related to your niche. Copy the link, go to Invideo AI, select the YouTube shorts workflow, and use the article as a reference.

3. **Prompt Formula**: Embrace a detailed prompt formula for optimal results. Specify the duration, platform, topic, voiceover and script style, background music, and any additional information. For instance:

Does Fez Meet His End in ‘Euphoria’? How Season 3 Addresses Angus Cloud’s Heartbreaking Passing

In 2023, the entertainment world was rocked by the tragic death of Euphoria star Angus Cloud due to a drug overdose. This loss seemingly meant the end for his beloved character, Fezco, on the HBO series—or did it?

The answer unfolds in the Season 3 premiere of Euphoria, as viewers are taken by surprise halfway through the episode with revelations about Fezco O’Neill’s fate in the show’s universe.

**Warning: Spoilers ahead for Euphoria Season 3 Episode 1, currently available on HBO Max**

Set around five years after the dramatic events of 2022’s Season 2, Euphoria Season 3 sees Rue (played by Zendaya) juggling a dangerous double life as a drug courier for the menacing Laurie (Martha Kelly) while also working as an Uber driver in Los Angeles. Her friend Lexi (Maude Apatow), however, is thriving in her role as a production assistant for a Hollywood producer, portrayed by Sharon Stone. Despite their hectic lives, the duo manages to reunite and share updates, which is when we discover what happened to Fez.

Fans of Euphoria might recall the charmingly innocent flirtation between Fezco and Lexi in Season 2. During an interview with DECIDER in early 2022, series stars Maude Apatow and Angus Cloud fondly discussed the development of this storyline, reflecting the chemistry and excitement both actors felt about their characters’ interactions.

“I thought it would be a funny idea if Lexi and Fez became an unlikely friendship and I think it’s so sweet,” Apatow said. “I’m glad it worked out, but yeah it was super fun working with Angus.”

“Maude is the best. I love Maude to death,” Cloud said. “She’s the sweetest girl ever and Lexi is also the sweetest girl ever. I think it’s literally just that her innocence brings out the innocence in me, you know?”

The pairing was an immediate hit with fans, who rooted for the show’s two most kind-hearted characters to get closer, despite their very different lifestyles.

So it should come as no surprise that we learn about what happened to Fezco in the world of Euphoria in a scene where Rue is catching up with Lexi.

“You really should call Fez,” Rue says suddenly, revealing that he’s not only alive, but he misses Lexi. So where is he?

What Happened to Fez on Euphoria? How Euphoria Season 3 Handles Angus Cloud’s Untimely Death:

A conversation between Rue and Lexi reveals that Fez is currently in prison, facing up to thirty years of jail time.

Of course, this is probably where we should have expected Fez to be, since Euphoria Season 2 ends with him getting arrested by the cops. His adopted little brother Ashtray (Javon Walton) sadly died in the midst of a shootout with the officers who had arrived at their house, but Fez survived, despite the fact that a stray bullet caught him.

So Fez lives! In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Euphoria creator, writer, and director Sam Levinson explained the poignant reason why he made this creative choice.

“I loved Angus very deeply and I fought very hard to keep him clean while he was here. I think when he passed away, it made me sort of step back and go what is the story I want to tell, what is it I want to say? What matters in life?” Levinson said.

“I couldn’t keep him alive in real life but I could keep his character alive in the show,” he said. “I kept him alive and the character has got a great arc. I think he’d be very proud of it.”

Time will tell how Cloud’s role will evolve onscreen in Euphoria Season 3.

New episodes of Euphoria Season 3 premiere on Sundays at 9 PM ET on HBO and HBO Max.

Mamdani Marks 100-Day Rally with Vision for City-Operated Grocery Stores

0

NEW YORK (AP) — On Sunday, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani marked a significant milestone, celebrating 100 days in office. He used this occasion to highlight his administration’s early successes and outline ambitious goals, emphasizing a steadfast commitment to the city’s working class.

Addressing a crowd shortly after reaching this pivotal point in his tenure, Mamdani reiterated his initial promise that City Hall would serve a singular mission: expanding the city’s inclusivity to benefit more residents each day.

“For 102 days, we’ve been dedicated to this mission,” he declared.

After showcasing his administration’s initial achievements, Mamdani introduced a series of new initiatives.

Foremost among them is a key campaign promise: the launch of city-operated grocery stores. He announced that the first store is slated to open next year, with plans for additional locations across each of the city’s five boroughs to be realized by the end of his term.

“At our stores, eggs will be cheaper. Bread will be cheaper. Grocery shopping will no longer be an unsolvable equation,” said Mamdani, a Democrat.

In addition, the mayor announced plans to expand the city’s covered trash bin program — “Say goodbye to black bags and say hello to the bins,” he said, vowing to spread the initiative citywide by the end of 2031.

And he reiterated his campaign promise to make buses faster and free of cost, saying he would move to speed up bus services along some routes. It remains unclear how he would make good on eliminating bus fares.

“Tonight, we’re delivering the fast, and we’re excited to keep working with Albany to deliver the free,” he said, referencing the governor and the state Legislature, which hold considerable sway over parts of his agenda.

Before Mamdani spoke, the crowd heard from a city transportation department staffer to hear about Mamdani’s pothole filling blitz; a tenant organizer who praised the mayor’s focus on renters; and a mother who boosted his push to expand child care programs in the city.

“No longer will city government be afraid of its own shadow,” Mamdani told the crowd shortly after taking the stage. “If anyone should be afraid it is those who take advantage of working people.”

Mamdani, 34, took office in January after a campaign centered on making New York City a more affordable place to live, centering his agenda on refocusing the vast power of government toward helping the city’s struggling working class.

Autopsy Shocker: The Dark Twist in the Neighbor’s Self-Defense Murder Claim

0

Pine Bluff, Arkansas, once a tranquil town, was suddenly thrust into chaos.

“People were running everywhere; it was complete chaos,” recounted Police Captain Shawn Davis during an episode of Oxygen’s Snapped on April 12. “All we knew for sure was that someone had been shot.”

The victim was 21-year-old Vanessa Bearden, a young mother and aspiring nurse. Police discovered her unconscious from a gunshot wound at the Sunset Village apartment complex.

“In Pine Bluff, the average resident isn’t usually a target of random violence,” stated Defense Attorney Gene McKissic on Snapped. “Incidents like home invasions or killings are rare, and when they happen, they’re usually due to personal conflicts.”

How Did Vanessa Bearden Die?

Vanessa is fondly remembered by her loved ones as a generous, kind-hearted, and thoughtful individual.

“Everybody knew Vanessa,” her cousin Antonette Hunt told Snapped. “She had a really big personality.”

According to Hunt, Vanessa—a single mother of a 2-year-old and 6-month-old—had just started a new job: “She had a lot of positive things working out for her.”

Until that summer night in June 2011.

Vanessa’s friend Colby told police that Vanessa and Olivia Moody—who knew each other only casually—had clashed earlier that day at another apartment complex.

Olivia had been fighting with a woman named Alisha, who was dating Olivia’s ex. At the time, Vanessa jumped into the fray, siding with Alicia.

Later that day, Vanessa and several others were hanging out back at Sunset Village where they encountered Olivia again, according to Colby. Olivia allegedly made verbal threats toward the group, then sent a neighborhood boy to summon Vanessa to meet with her.

Vanessa brought a knife and Olivia was armed with a gun. According to Colby, Olivia shot Vanessa upon sight.

Why Did Olivia Moody Kill Vanessa Bearden?

Though Olivia had a rough childhood, growing up with an addict mother, she was on track to become the first person in her family to graduate college.

She was pursuing a degree in criminal justice at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff while working as a clerk for a local circuit judge.

“Knowing Olivia’s background,” said Davis, “she does not fit the profile of a cold-blooded killer.”

So, what happened?

During interviews, “her demeanor was, I would say, calm—nonchalant,” Davis recalled. “She admitted to the shooting but she said it was self-defense.”

Olivia claimed she obtained a gun for protection after the earlier brawl and had invited the group to meet to de-escalate the situation. According to Olivia, the shooting was unintentional, and she had only meant to fire a warning shot after allegedly hearing Colby say, “Get her.”

However, police were not convinced, and she was charged with capital murder.

As Davis filled out arrest paperwork, he recalled an unsettling remark from Olivia.

“She made the statement, ‘No, actually, it was second-degree murder,’” said Davis. “It caught me by surprise, because I have never heard anyone make a statement like that.”

The Trial of Olivia Moody

Vanessa’s autopsy showed she was struck by the bullet in the back of the left shoulder.

As Davis pointed out, “It’s not self-defense if you’re hit in the back and you’re also fleeing.”

When Olivia went on trial for murder on May 16, 2012, she was offered an unexpected break: A plea deal that would reduce the charge to manslaughter.

“She would have gotten four years probation reduced to manslaughter with the right of expungement of record,” defense attorney McKissic explained. “Had that happened, she would have been placed in a car that day with her family.”

In a shocking move, Olivia turned it down, opting instead to take the stand.

“She was faced with tough questions that she did not have an answer for,” Prosecutor Bryan Achorn told Snapped. “The jury deliberated and came back with a verdict of guilty on one count of second-degree murder.”

In May 2012, Olivia was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

“In the end, we had two families destroyed,” said Davis. “Vanessa and Olivia, they both come from rough backgrounds. They both had overcome a lot to try to be successful…this situation changed the trajectories of their futures.”

Euphoria Addresses Fez’s Absence Following Angus Cloud’s Tragic Passing: A Thoughtful Tribute

The season 3 premiere of Euphoria addressed the absence of Fez following the tragic offscreen death of actor Angus Cloud.

In the episode airing on Sunday, April 12, viewers saw Rue, played by Zendaya, having a conversation with Lexi, portrayed by Maude Apatow, about reaching out to Fez. It was revealed that Fez is now serving a 30-year prison sentence, a storyline stemming from the season 2 finale where his arrest seemed imminent.

Show creator Sam Levinson had previously discussed his intentions to honor Cloud’s character within the series.

“There are numerous scenes where characters are speaking to him on the phone,” Levinson shared with Variety at the season 3 premiere event on Tuesday, April 7, explaining how Fez remains integral to the show’s narrative.

Sydney Sweeney 01 Euphoria Cast Then and Now

Since its debut, Euphoria has undergone several cast changes both on and off the screen. The series, inspired by an Israeli show of the same name, centers around Rue, a high school student grappling with sobriety post-rehab. It delves into various themes such as mental health, toxic relationships, and sexuality.

He continued: “I thought that if I couldn’t keep him alive in life then maybe within this show that I can control and keep him alive there,” he added. “I think the whole thing was to honor him and also I can’t wait for you to see the last few episodes. I think he would be cracking up at his story line. I think he would love it.”

Cloud isn’t the only costar the Euphoria cast has lost. Eric Dane, who played Cal, died in February at age 53 after a battle with ALS.

“Some people ask why it took so long between seasons 2 and 3. There were obvious factors — the strikes, trying to make a schedule work with our very in-demand cast, but the real time was in trying to figure out how to find a way to pay respect to those who we lost,” Levinson said in a speech on Tuesday.

He continued: “When Angus died, it was tough. I loved him deeply, and I fought hard to keep him clean. The year he died, in 2023, he was one of 73,000 people in America who died of a fentanyl overdose. I learned a whole lot that year, but what I realized more than anything is that death is what gives life meaning. You can’t be arrogant about existence. You’re forced to reckon with the fact that life itself is a wonder, a gift, a profound blessing.”

Before his death, Cloud was candid about his struggles with mental health and addiction. Levinson recalled making several attempts to help the actor during his journey to stay sober.

Angus Cloud 01 Euphoria Cast Then and Now

The Euphoria cast and crew have mourned the deaths of some of their colleagues over the years. Euphoria, which premiered in 2019, originally followed troubled high school student Rue (Zendaya) as she struggled to remain sober after rehab. The hit HBO series was quickly renewed for a second season after its premiere, but it took […]

“I looked him in the eye and I knew that he wasn’t doing well,” Levinson told People in September 2023 about helping Angus enter a 30-day in-patient program. “At the same time, I’ve been in these situations before where you’re trying to get someone clean. And I just said to him, ‘I love working with you and we’ve got this amazing season planned and stuff, but I need you to be sober because I got to be able to rely on you.’”

Levinson was determined to support Cloud, noting, “I could always feel that he didn’t want [sobriety] as much as we all wanted it for him. That’s where it gets tricky because the whole world can want it for you. But he didn’t want it. It’s just the self-destructive side of addiction and it outweighs everything. But you can’t give up on people. I wasn’t going to let anyone give up on him.”

Euphoria airs on HBO Sundays at 9 p.m. ET

Trump’s Midnight Blockade: High Tensions Surge as Strait of Hormuz Faces Closure

Trump declared the US Navy would “immediately” begin a blockade to stop ships from entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz in a stunning counterattack threat against Iran, warning any Iranian that tried to stop it would be “blown to hell”.

A significant naval operation is set to commence as the United States prepares to implement a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. The action will begin at 10 a.m. US Eastern Time on Monday, which corresponds to 12 a.m. Tuesday AEST.

In a declaration made on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump underscored the commencement of this blockade, stating, “Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will initiate a blockade on any and all ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz.”

Trump elaborated on the situation, explaining that the goal is to eventually permit unrestricted passage. However, he attributed the delay to Iran’s claims of potential mines in the area, which remain unverified by other parties.

The U.S. Central Command has clarified that ships traveling between non-Iranian ports will still be permitted to pass through the strait, although specifics on how this will be managed are yet to be disclosed.

In an official post on X, CENTCOM stated, “The blockade will be enforced impartially against vessels of all nations, targeting those entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal regions, including all ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.”

The president said he instructed the US Navy to interdict any ship in international waters that had paid an “illegal” toll to Iran.

“No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas,” he added.

Trump has claimed “other countries” will be involved in the blockade and that the US military was “locked and loaded” to resume attacks against Iran.

“Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL!” he said.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Australia had not been asked to join the US blockade.

“We haven’t been asked to participate. We’ve received no requests that we haven’t agreed to,” he told Today this morning.

He described the Trump administration as carrying out its blockade in a “unilateral way”.

Trump has also claimed the US had completely destroyed sea mines in the Strait.

“Our Military will finish up the little that is left of Iran!” he wrote on Truth Social.

He again urged Iran to open the Strait before the looming deadline.

“As they promised, they better begin the process of getting this INTERNATIONAL WATERWAY OPEN AND FAST!” he added.

Questions linger over whether this maritime war strategy will achieve Trump’s objective of reopening the Strait to commercial vessels.

Virginia senator Mark Warner, a ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, told CNN he did not “understand how blockading the Strait is going to somehow push the Iranians into opening it”.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that any warship approaching the Strait would be regarded as a breach of the ceasefire agreement and would be responded to “harshly and decisively”.

Iranian parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said any US blockade would only push oil prices higher.

“Enjoy the current pump figures,” he said in a post on X, noting the current fuel prices in the US.

“With the so-called ‘blockade’, soon you’ll be nostalgic for $4–$5 gas.”

Alarming NYPD Alert: NYC Teens Indicted as Potential ‘Sleeper Cell’ Bombers

0

A seasoned officer from the NYPD has issued a stark warning to residents of major US cities, urging them to remain vigilant against potential threats from ‘sleeper cells.’ This alert comes just a month after New York City narrowly escaped a significant terror attack.

On Tuesday, legal action intensified against two teenagers inspired by ISIS, as they were formally charged with eight counts. These charges include attempting to deploy weapons of mass destruction and aiding a terrorist organization.

The suspects, Ibrahim Kayumi and Emir Balat, were apprehended on March 7 after allegedly launching a “Mother of Satan” explosive device toward police officers stationed outside the mayor’s residence in Manhattan. If found guilty of the most severe charges, they could face life imprisonment.

According to the criminal complaint, as Kayumi, aged 19, was being detained, he reportedly declared that ‘ISIS’ motivated their failed attack.

Furthermore, 18-year-old Balat confessed to authorities that he had sworn allegiance to the terrorist group, while Kayumi claimed connections to the Islamic State, as detailed in the indictment.

Retired Deputy Inspector Raymond Festino, a 30-year veteran of the New York City Police Department, worked on the front lines of countless emergencies and told the Daily Mail that copycats and other extremists were likely already in the US and plotting similar crimes.

Festino said: ‘They’re without question on high alert. I would say a good reason is, number one, that there are a lot of people who entered this country that the government is unaware of, and unaware of what their intention is.’

‘You could have a bunch of sleeper cells that are sitting around, waiting to be activated. And now that there’s a conflict going on in Iran, those sleeper cells could be activated.’

Balat was also asked by police if the pair were attempting to copy the bombing of the Boston Marathon in 2013, where two pressure-cooker bombs exploded near the finish line, killing three people and wounding hundreds more.

The criminal complaint reported that Balat replied: ‘No, even bigger.’ He was allegedly aware that the Boston bombing had ‘only caused three deaths.’

Festino said that the public can take a few simple steps to make sure they stay safe, know what to do and are able to help police and others if another terror attack unfolds in front of them.

First, the law enforcement veteran said the main thing a sleeper cell will take advantage of is that people are too distracted, usually by their phones, and unaware of their surroundings.

‘When a perpetrator of a crime picks out a victim, it’s almost like a “prey” situation. You have a predator looking for prey,’ he warned. ‘If you’re unaware of what’s going on in your surroundings, you make yourself prey.’

Festino said it is particularly important to remain aware of where you are and where the exits are in case of emergency when visiting what the NYPD considers the likeliest targets to terrorists – crowded public spaces.

‘In Manhattan, subway stations, Times Square, those are places where there are a lot of people in a little area. And people who want to try to do that want to maximize carnage. That’s where they’re gonna look for.’

US security experts have also warned that Iranian sleeper cells and radicalized sympathizers are likely planning mass casualty attacks against ‘soft’ targets in retaliation for the US-Israeli strikes on Iran, including crowded locations such as concerts, sporting events and major public transportation hubs.

According to the criminal complaint against them, the terror suspects were attempting to commit a deadlier attack than the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013

While it may be impossible for everyday citizens to prevent a terror plot from unfolding, Festino said there are two key things people can do as soon as an emergency erupts.

The first is to make sure you are safe and out of immediate danger. Run for cover or away from the violence.

Festino added that you also need to make sure you are safe and unharmed before attempting to help others who may be hurt in the attack.

Then, report everything you are able to see to the police as soon as possible.

‘You need to be the eyes and the ears of law enforcement,’ he explained.

‘Because there are so many times that a crime will take place, and we just don’t know. It’ll be reported, but we have no details.’

Festino said the most helpful information people can provide to 911 or a nearby police officer right after a terror attack is the exact location of what they saw, followed by a description of the suspects and the direction they were last seen moving in.

‘Pay attention to what he looks like. What is he wearing? Then, what is he picking up? At that point, [it] looks like he’s picking up something, or he’s looking like he has a weapon on him. You immediately need to notify the authorities.’

Festino noted that people who stop to record incidents on their phones could be capturing vital clues investigators need, but they also need to make sure they are in a safe location first and that they get the footage to police, not their social media followers.

Still, the NYPD veteran called a cell phone the number one item everyone should have on them when they are out in public in case terrorists strike on US soil.

‘Be able to communicate outside of wherever you are, and be able to record. Those are very important factors.’

US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jay Clayton, FBI Director Kash Patel and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch revealed that Barat and Kayumi also face charges of carrying explosives while committing a federal crime, transporting explosive materials, moving explosives across state lines, and unlawful possession of destructive devices.

The failed explosive device used by Barat and Kayumi contained a white, crystalline explosive material called triacetone triperoxide (TATP).

It also contained an exterior layer of duct-taped nuts and bolts, and a hobby fuse that was reportedly connected to an M80-type firework.

TATP has been linked to previous ISIS attacks, including the Paris attacks in 2015.

Authorities have stressed there is no publicly confirmed, credible domestic terror plot at this time.

However, Jen Gavito, a former diplomat and Pentagon adviser now at The Cohen Group, told the Daily Mail that Iran’s ‘asymmetric toolkit’ poses the greatest danger to Americans.

She warned that Tehran prefers deniable, indirect attacks rather than open military confrontation with the US. That includes assassination plots, cyber intrusions and overseas bombings, including the 1994 Buenos Aires attack that killed 85 people.

Top 5 Standing Exercises to Enhance Full-Body Balance for Those Over 60, Outpacing Yoga

0

Unlocking the secrets to enhanced full-body balance may seem like a challenge, especially as we age, but a seasoned strength coach has identified five standing exercises that outperform traditional yoga routines for those over 60.

Balance is an often-overlooked aspect of fitness that can make daily activities feel seamless. With improved balance, walking becomes more fluid, transitions smoother, and there’s an undeniable boost in confidence, all without conscious effort. Rather than being a measurable metric, it’s a sensation that permeates every movement, enhancing the quality of life.

In my experience training clients, I’ve consistently observed that balance improves rapidly when you provide it with the correct stimuli. It’s not about enduring strenuous workouts; instead, it’s about positioning your body in ways that naturally encourage stability and control. Once this clicks, the improvement is often surprisingly swift, with individuals feeling more grounded and connected.

This is where straightforward standing exercises come into play. By simply standing and moving, your body engages in its natural function without unnecessary distractions. I frequently incorporate these exercises into routines because of their simplicity and their direct application to everyday activities. Here are five exercises that will help you cultivate that stable, self-assured feeling, building it from the ground up.

That’s where simple standing work fits in. You’re upright, you’re moving, and your body is doing what it’s designed to do without extra noise. I lean on these kinds of exercises a lot because they’re straightforward and they translate right into everyday movement. These five will help you build that steady, confident feel from the ground up.

This is a simple way to bring your balance back online while adding just enough movement to make it useful. As you reach forward, your standing leg has to stabilize and adjust without letting your hips shift or your foot collapse. You’ll feel your glutes and feet working together to keep everything steady. It doesn’t take much before you notice which side feels more solid and which side needs more attention.

Muscles Trained: Glutes, calves, core, and foot stabilizers

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Shift your weight onto one leg.
  3. Lift your opposite foot slightly off the ground.
  4. Reach your arms forward while maintaining your balance.
  5. Return to the starting position with control.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps per side. Rest for 45 seconds between each set

Best Variations: Lateral reach, overhead reach, eyes closed progression

Form Tip: Keep your standing foot rooted so you don’t roll inward.

Heel-to-Toe Walk

This one brings balance into motion. Instead of holding a position, you’re controlling each step as your weight shifts forward. Walking heel-to-toe forces your body to stay aligned and steady, especially through your hips and core. It’s one of the closest things to real-world balance you can train in a simple way.

Muscles Trained: Calves, glutes, core, and stabilizers throughout the lower body

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall and step forward with one foot.
  2. Place your heel directly in front of your toes.
  3. Shift your weight forward onto that foot.
  4. Bring your back foot forward into the same position.
  5. Continue walking in a straight line with control.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 10 to 15 steps. Rest for 30 to 45 seconds between each set

Best Variations: Backward walk, slower tempo, head turns

Form Tip: Move slowly and stay tall instead of rushing through your steps.

Split-Stance Weight Shift

This is one of the easiest ways to rebuild confidence in your balance without making things feel unstable. By keeping one foot in front of the other, you create a base that challenges your balance while still giving you enough control to stay comfortable. As you shift your weight forward and back, your body learns how to manage that transition smoothly.

Muscles Trained: Glutes, quads, hamstrings, and core

How to Do It:

  1. Stand with one foot in front of the other.
  2. Keep both feet planted firmly on the ground.
  3. Shift your weight forward onto your front foot.
  4. Shift your weight back toward your rear foot.
  5. Continue moving smoothly between positions.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps per side. Rest for 45 seconds between each set

Best Variations: Longer stance, eyes closed, added pause

Form Tip: Keep your movements smooth, so you don’t lose control between shifts.

Marching in Place

This looks simple, but it challenges your balance more than people expect. Each time you lift a foot, your body has to stabilize on the other side without leaning or shifting too much. That constant switching builds coordination and control that carry over directly into walking and daily movement.

Muscles Trained: Hip flexors, glutes, core, and stabilizers

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Lift one knee up to hip height.
  3. Pause briefly while maintaining your balance.
  4. Lower your foot back down.
  5. Alternate sides in a steady rhythm.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps per side. Rest for 30 to 45 seconds between each set

Best Variations: Slower tempo, longer holds, arms overhead

Form Tip: Stay tall and avoid leaning back as you lift your knee.

Single-Leg Hip Hinge

This brings everything together. As you hinge forward on one leg, your hips, core, and foot must stay locked in to keep you balanced. It’s a great way to build strength and stability at the same time. When you control this movement, it carries over into just about everything else you do.

Muscles Trained: Glutes, hamstrings, core, and stabilizers

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall and shift your weight onto one leg.
  2. Slightly bend your standing knee.
  3. Hinge at your hips while extending your opposite leg behind you.
  4. Lower your torso while keeping your back flat.
  5. Return to the starting position with control.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps per side. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between each set

Best Variations: Light weights, reach forward, slower tempo

Form Tip: Keep your hips level so you don’t rotate while hinging.

The Best Tips for Improving Balance After 60

Balance tends to come back faster than people expect once you start working on it consistently. It’s less about pushing hard and more about giving your body the chance to relearn how to control itself. When you stay patient and keep your movements clean, things start to feel more natural pretty quickly.

  • Slow your movements: Moving with control gives your body time to adjust and stabilize, which actually builds balance rather than just getting through reps.
  • Spend time on one leg: Most balance challenges happen when your weight shifts, so getting comfortable and strong on one side at a time makes a big difference.
  • Stay consistent: Even a few minutes each day helps reinforce coordination and keeps your body from slipping back into old patterns.
  • Focus on how you move: Pay attention to your foot position, hip control, and posture so you’re building awareness as well as strength.
  • Progress gradually: Small increases in difficulty, like longer holds or slower reps, help you improve without losing confidence or control.

Mass Exodus: Over 50 Former Staffers Urge Eric Swalwell to Resign Amid Growing Controversy

0

A group of over 50 former employees of Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) have urged him to step down in light of multiple allegations of sexual misconduct and assault.

In an open letter, these allegations were labeled as both “serious” and “credible” by the former staff members.

“The reports by the San Francisco Chronicle and CNN present serious and credible accusations that require accountability,” the letter stated. “We stand firmly with our colleague who demonstrated immense bravery in sharing her story. We believe her.”

The allegations, as reported by both CNN and the Chronicle, include a former staffer accusing the California gubernatorial hopeful of sexual assault, claiming their encounter occurred after a night of drinking when she was unable to give consent. Additionally, three other women reported to CNN that Swalwell sent unsolicited explicit photos and messages.

“This is not a political maneuver. It is the testimony of a young woman who placed her trust in her employer, only to be exploited by someone wielding power over her, and who has borne this weight for years,” the letter continued. “The corroboration presented by both media outlets, including medical documentation and multiple witnesses, underscores the gravity of the situation. No statement, cease-and-desist order, or claims of political bias can alter what our colleague endured.”

After calling for a full investigation into the matter, the former staffers ultimately concluded that Swalwell should not only drop from the California governor race but also resign from Congress.

“To our colleague: you are not alone. We see you. We stand with you. We are deeply sorry that we did not know what you were enduring, and we carry the weight of that with us. Your bravery in speaking out has given voice to what many victims have feared to say, and we are grateful for your courage. We are appalled by his actions and stand firmly with you and every victim who has come forward,” it concluded.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office also said on Saturday that it is investigating a sexual assault allegation against Swalwell.

The congressman has denied all allegations against him.

Tragic New Zealand Landslides Claim Two Lives, Disrupt Popular Campsite with Missing Children Amid Caravans’ Destruction

0

In the wake of devastating landslides in New Zealand, at least two individuals have lost their lives, and several children are still unaccounted for. The natural disaster has caused immense destruction, particularly impacting foreign tourists, including Australians. Harrowing footage reveals the extent of the damage as caravans, tents, vehicles, and toilet facilities were smashed by the landslide, triggered by unprecedented rainfall in recent days.

The tragedy unfolded early in the morning at 4:50 a.m. when a landslide struck a residence in Welcome Bay, located on New Zealand’s North Island. Two people managed to escape the perilous situation, but sadly, two others who were trapped inside the house were later found deceased, according to emergency management minister Mark Mitchell.

As the morning progressed, emergency services were summoned to another disastrous scene at Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park, a popular destination on the North Island. Here, the dire situation continues as multiple children remain missing, adding to the urgency and heartbreak of the ongoing rescue efforts.

Another two people managed to escape the house, while the bodies of two who were trapped inside were recovered hours later, emergency management minister Mark Mitchell said.

Later the same morning, emergency services were called to the second slide at the popular Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park on New Zealand’s North Island, where multiple children remain unaccounted for.

The Beachside Holiday Park has since been evacuated, and the public is urged to avoid the area, as emergency responders launch a desperate search for those feared trapped.

Rescue workers have said there are no signs of life at the campsite, while Mitchell confirmed ‘at least one young girl’ is among those unaccounted for. Police Superintendent Tim Anderson added that the number of people missing was in the ‘single figures’.

Mitchell told RNZ that sections of the east coast resembled ‘a war zone’, with helicopters deployed to rescue families sheltering on rooftops from flooding, and local states of emergency declared in five regions in Northland and the East Cape.

Australian Sonny Worrall from Newcastle, NSW, was among dozens of holidaymakers caught up in the chaos, describing it as the scariest moment of his life.

He was swimming in the nearby hot pools when he heard a tree crack.

‘I looked behind me, and there was a huge landslide coming down,’ he told TVNZ.

‘I turned around, and I had to jump out from my seat as fast as I could and just run. Looking behind me, there was a caravan coming right behind me. It all happened in a flash. I was fearing for my life. People were panicking everywhere.’

The NZ Herald spoke to two people who had been in the hot pools near the campsite when the landslide struck.

Bruce Cortesi reportedly saw the landslide first and had pointed out ‘how the trees are moving’ to his friend Olly Collier. Cortesi had immediately raised the alarm, calling for people to run.

Cortesi told the Herald that everyone began running, and they looked back and saw a ‘big caravan’ had come crashing down into the large swimming pool.

They said some people escaping the pools had ‘dirt on their faces’. He added that while the landslide looked like it was moving slowly, it came down in ‘seconds’.

A woman who warned others of the landslide just moments before she was buried in rubble is being hailed a hero as desperate search efforts continue.

She frantically pulled campers from their beds at 5am and warned them of danger so they could start packing up to leave.

In a tragic twist, the same woman later became trapped in a toilet block along with several others when the hillside completely collapsed a few hours later, at about 9.30am on Thursday.

The amenities block was buried in the landslip, with rescuers hearing terrified screams for help, but being unable to hear further cries after about 15 minutes.

‘I just want you to know that one of the women that’s in that shower block, she was a hero,’ a witness, who didn’t want to be named, told the New Zealand Herald.

‘She went around at 5 o’clock this morning, and she got us all out of bed, and she woke us all up so that we could move out… and she’s not out.’

The mangled toilet block landed on top of caravans 20 metres from where it initially stood. No one has yet been rescued from the rubble.

Rescue efforts ramped up on Thursday afternoon as the police dog squad joined search efforts.

‘We’re going right through [the night] until we’ve rescued everyone,’ Fire and Emergency NZ commander William Park told reporters.

‘It was a significant landslip, and the priority was life safety. It’s a complex and high-risk environment.’

Mark Tangney was among the first rescuers on scene after he heard screams and saw holidaymakers fleeing the campground.

‘There were six or eight other guys there on the roof of the toilet block with tools just trying to take the roof off because we could hear people screaming ‘help us, help us, get us out of here’,’ Mr Tangney told the New Zealand Herald.

The landslide caused extensive damage to caravans, campervans and vehicles

‘We went hard for about half an hour, and after 15 minutes, the people that were trapped, we couldn’t hear them anymore.’

Fisherman Alister Hardy heard ‘rolling thunder and cracking of trees’, before looking up and seeing ‘the whole hillside gave way’.

‘There were people running and screaming, and I saw people get bowled. There are people trapped,’ he told the New Zealand Herald.

Camper Carly Morley added: ‘The toilet block up the top has been taken out with a number of caravans.

‘It’s all slid right down through the hot pools… there’s been helicopters, surf life savers are over there helping, and they’re just trying to cut into the toilet block at the moment.’

The campground remains closed until further notice.

A second landslip formed behind the Mount Maunganui surf club on Thursday afternoon, forcing the building to be evacuated.

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said that his government was doing everything to support those affected.

‘To the emergency responders, Defence Force personnel, and all those who are putting themselves in harm’s way to keep Kiwis safe, the whole country is grateful,’ he tweeted.

‘We continue to urge people in affected areas to follow the advice of local authorities.’

He also added that the country is ‘heavy with grief’ after the ‘profound tragedy’ of the recent weather.

‘The weather events of the past 48 hours have been a profound tragedy, claiming lives and devastating livelihoods,’ he wrote on X.

Luxon leads tributes for ‘the families who have lost loved ones, and with those whose family members remain unaccounted for’.

‘These losses are deeply shattering, and New Zealand is heavy with grief,’ he added.

He goes on to commend the efforts of first responders, adding that ‘amid this tragedy, we have once again seen the very best of New Zealand.’

More than 200km north of Auckland, Mount Maunganui is a popular coastal holiday hotspot famous for its extinct volcano, a sacred Maori site with ocean-view hiking trails.

It comes after Tauranga – the closest city to Mount Maunganui – received 295mm in the 30 hours to 6am Thursday.

Huge swathes of North Island were smashed by torrential rain on Wednesday, with meteorologists MetService issuing a rare red weather warning for a ‘threat to life’ in several regions and a state of local emergency.

In Warkworth near Auckland, a man in his 40s was swept away in his car in the swollen Mahurangi River, while a passenger managed to scramble to safety.

Police continued their search for the missing motorist on Thursday, while further east, rescue efforts are underway for stranded locals in the remote Tairawhiti region.

People have been trapped on rooftops in Te Araroa, with Mark Law, the helicopter pilot involved in rescue efforts after the deadly 2019 Whakaari-White Island volcanic eruption, telling Radio NZ he was helping to conduct checks in the area.

Another couple in Welcome Bay, near Tauranga, were also rescued after a landslip hit their house, with one seriously injured, according to local MP Tom Rutherford.

Thousands of people in Northland, Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, and Tairawhiti were also left without power after the storm and flooding.

Heroic Act: Former Convict Saves Lost 6-Year-Old in Miami, Showcasing Humanity Beyond Labels

0

A former convict, currently homeless, became an unexpected hero in Miami late Wednesday night when he saved a lost child wandering alone through the streets. His actions have garnered significant praise from local law enforcement, who emphasized the potential dangers the boy could have faced had he not intervened.

Known to sleep on a familiar bench in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood since his release from prison six months ago, Arnett Johnson found himself in a situation that was both alarming and serendipitous. As reported by Local10, Johnson was taken aback when he noticed a young boy aimlessly roaming the streets close to midnight.

Having become accustomed to the strange and unusual during his time living on the streets, Johnson viewed his presence at that moment as something beyond mere coincidence. He described the experience as a moment of divine guidance.

“God sent me there. I had to do what God say to do,” Johnson shared with the local news outlet, reflecting on his pivotal role in ensuring the child’s safety.

“God sent me there. I had to do what God say to do,” he told the local outlet.

He explained that he did one more check around the area, just in case the boy’s parents were actually nearby, before determining he was truly alone.

Johnson said he called police and waited with the 6-year-old, keeping him out of harm’s way until authorities arrived to collect him.

“It’s dangerous every day out here, right here. Especially, we got homeless people all together, and you’ve got fixed minds — it’s dangerous,” Johnson told the outlet.

The cops praised the “good Samaritan that was sleeping on the streets” whom they credited with saving the child.

“You know, kudos to him. We don’t know what would have happened if he would have remained on the streets,” Miami police Officer Mike Vega told the outlet.

When the boy was in the cops’ safekeeping, he said: “Mommy drop me off and left me.”

Police noted that the boy had delayed speech, which made it difficult to obtain information from him — including his and his parents’ identities.

The next day, a school officer in the county recognized the boy on a “need to identify” flyer and informed the Miami Police Department.

Once they had a positive ID for the lost child, they were able to make contact with a witness who knew his mother, 30-year-old Annie Rivera.

The witness said she recently started housing Rivera and her son, but noticed the pair were missing around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. While Rivera was back by 6 a.m. Thursday, the boy was nowhere to be found.

Rivera was taken into custody hours later and charged with child neglect without bodily harm.

The boy was placed with the Florida Department of Children and Families.
